Using a sand anchor with your beach umbrella will ensure the umbrella remains stable in the sea breeze. Here are the detailed steps:

Check the parts: Ensure your beach umbrella pole has a pointed end that can be screwed into the sand anchor, or that you are using a separate sand anchor compatible with your beach umbrella pole.
Choose a location: Select a flat, open spot on the beach where you want to set up your beach umbrella, ensuring it's not too close to the water's edge or obstructing others.
Place the sand anchor or the pointed end of the beach umbrella pole with the screw base at the chosen location.
Separate sand anchor: If you are using a separate sand anchor that looks like a large screw, grasp the handle or grip at the top.
With a screw base: If your beach umbrella pole has a screw base at the bottom, hold the beach umbrella pole directly.
Like screwing in a screw, press down firmly while rotating the anchor clockwise.
Depth: Continue rotating until most of the sand anchor or the screw base of the beach umbrella (usually more than two-thirds, ideally the entire screw section) is buried in the sand, leaving only the upper opening for inserting the beach umbrella pole exposed above the sand. The deeper it's buried, the better the anchoring effect.
Insert the lower half of the beach umbrella pole into the opening at the top of the sand anchor or screw base.
Most sand anchors or screw bases have one or more side knobs (usually T-shaped handles).
Purpose: These knobs are used to clamp the beach umbrella pole, preventing it from wobbling or being pulled out by the wind.
Operation: Tighten these knobs clockwise until the beach umbrella pole is securely fixed and cannot rotate or move up and down within the sand anchor.
Carefully open the beach umbrella, ensuring the umbrella's angle provides maximum shade.
Tilting Angle: To better withstand sea breezes, you can slightly adjust the angle of the beach umbrella so that it faces the main wind direction (tilting it slightly towards the direction the wind is coming from). This reduces the lift caused by the wind blowing under the umbrella canopy.
Compacting the Sand: Walk on or compact the sand around the sand anchor with your feet to help the sand around the anchor become denser, increasing stability.
Loosen the Knob: Loosen the fixing knob on the sand anchor counterclockwise.
Remove the Umbrella Pole: Gently pull out the beach umbrella pole.
Remove the Anchor: Rotate the sand anchor counterclockwise to unscrew it from the sand and remove it.
